Drug Name Aricept (donepezylu)
Drug UsesAricept is used to treat mild to moderate dementia (eg, deterioration of memory, reasoning and abstract thinking, personality change) caused by Alzheimer's disease.
How to useDoctors using Aricept for instructions.
Continue to take Aricept even if you feel good. To Aricept in the evening before going to sleep, unless otherwise doctor. Do not miss any doses. Ask your health care provider any questions you may have on how to use Aricept. - Aricept by mouth with or without food.
Drug Class and MechanismIt does this by increasing acetylcholine in the brain, may help improve memory and thinking ability. Aricept is a cholinesterase inhibitor.
Missed DoseDo not take 2 doses once. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missing dose and return to your normal dose of the list. If you miss the dose of Aricept, take it as soon as possible.
StorageAricept stored at room temperature, 59 to 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Keep away from heat, humidity and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Aricept Keep out of reach from children and pets.
