Azulfidine (sulphasalasyne)

Azulfidine for the treatment of mild to moderate ulcerative colitis, as an adjunctive therapy (eg, with other drugs) in treatment of severe ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

Dose of 500 mg to 2000 mg every 6 h dosing interval, every 12 hours, depending on the patient's clinical condition. Patients with kidney disease may need a lower dose of Azulfidine.
