Drug Name Betapace (Solatol)
Drug UsesBetapace used to treat certain types of heart rhythm (ventricular fibrillation). It can also be used for other conditions determined by your doctor.
How to useDo not miss any doses.
Betapace the same time every day to help you remember it. Use Betapace according to doctor's instructions. Do not antacids, aluminum and magnesium in it within 2 hours before or after taking Betapace. Continue to use Betapace even if you feel good. Ask your health care provider any questions you may have on how to use Betapace. - To Betapace mouth or without food. Try to take the same way (or with food or without food) each time you take a dose. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions about taking Betapace food.
Drug Class and MechanismIt is by helping the heart beat evenly distributed over a longer period of time. Betapace belongs to a group of drugs called β-Betapace, β-blockers.
Missed Dose Do not take 2 doses once. If you miss a dose Betapace and it often, put it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missing dose and return to your normal dose of the list.
Storage Do not store in the bathroom. To keep away from children and pets far away Betapace. Betapace stored at room temperature, 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 and 25 degrees C). Keep away from heat, humidity and light. Stored in tight, dark container.
Warnings/PrecautionsHeart disease is common, you may not know you had.
Do not just stop taking Betapace. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain drugs. Sit or lie down at the first sign any of these effects. These tests can be used to monitor your condition or check for side effects.
Important: - Betapace may cause drowsiness, dizziness or vertigo. Betapace please use caution.
- Laboratory tests, including heart, kidney and blood pressure monitoring, can you use Betapace.
- Tell your doctor or dentist that you take Betapace to receive any medical or dental care, emergency care, or surgery. The drug is breast milk. Limit physical activity until you reduce the dose.
- Betapace may cause dizziness, vertigo or slabshannyu, alcohol, hot weather, exercise, or fever may increase these effects.
- Pregnancy and breast-feeding: If you are pregnant, contact your doctor. Your doctor should gradually reduce the dose over several weeks, if you want to stop taking it. Sharp chest pain, irregular heart beat, and sometimes heart attack may occur if you suddenly stop Betapace.
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of them attracted to you. To prevent them, sit up or stand slowly, especially in the morning. If new or worsening chest pain or other heart problems occur, contact your doctor. Do not take while breastfeeding Betapace. Risk may be higher, if you have certain types of cardiovascular disease. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks, and you are using Betapace pregnancy. Do not move or perform tasks, other may not be safe until you know your response to this. You may have to start taking Betapace. Do not use Betapace, if: - You are allergic to any ingredient, Betapace;
- Do you have a certain heart problems (such as severe low heart rate, uncontrolled heart failure, certain types of abnormal heart rhythm), low potassium or magnesium levels, severe kidney problems, or history of asthma;
- Do you accept Cisaprid, astemizol, terfenadyn, Mibefradil, dofetilide, or theophyllin (such as eufilin). Be sure to keep all doctor and laboratory use.
