Drug UsesParlodel lower prolactin.
Parlodel for the treatment of diseases such as amenorrhea (lack of menstruation), continued breast-production, infertility and other conditions caused by high levels of prolactin prolactin sekretyruyuschyh tumors of women and men. Parlodel has effects similar to dopamine, which makes it an effective treatment for stiffness, tremors, convulsions, poor muscle control associated with Parkinson's disease.

How to use- Parlodel by mouth with or without food. Use of Parlodel in accordance with the doctor's instructions.

Drug Class and Mechanism It does this by blocking the release of pituitary prolactin and reduced growth hormone (acromegaly). When Parkinson's disease, Parlodel works by stimulating dopamine receptors in certain parts of the brain. Parlodel is a dopamine agonist.
Missed DoseIf you miss a dose of Parlodel, put it as soon as possible. Do not take 2 doses once. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missing dose and return to your normal dose of the list.
StorageKeep away from heat, humidity and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Store Parlodel 77 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature (25 degrees Celsius). Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is not allowed. To keep away from children and pets far away Parlodel.

If you are taking Parlodel for the brain tumor, stopping Parlodel can lead to rapid regeneration of the tumor. Laboratory tests, including blood pressure, liver function, kidney, heart, and count, blood cells, can monitor your progress. - Do not just stop taking Parlodel without a preliminary check with your doctor. Do not use Parlodel, if:
- You are allergic to any ingredient, or ergot alkaloids Parlodel;
- You are breastfeeding;
- You can not control the development of hypertension or high blood pressure related to pregnancy;
- Your blood poisoning during pregnancy;
- You have just given birth and coronary heart disease (chest pain) or other serious heart disease;
- You are Parlodel as hyperprolactinemia and pregnancy. Be sure to keep all doctor and laboratory use. It is still unknown if Parlodel is accented with breast milk.
Important: - Do not move or perform tasks, other may not be safe until you know your response to this.
- Parlodel may decrease the effectiveness of your birth control pills. To prevent pregnancy, be sure to use an additional form of birth control (such as condoms) while using Parlodel. Safety and efficacy in this age group have not been confirmed
- Pregnancy and breast-feeding: If you're pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks during pregnancy using Parlodel.
- Special caution Parlodel children younger than 15 years. Do not take while breastfeeding Parlodel. Do not stop taking Parlodel without first checking with your doctor.
