Drug UsesPrazozyn for the treatment of hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It can also be used for other conditions determined by your doctor.

Drug Class and MechanismPrazozyn cause blood vessels (veins and arteries) to relax and expand, making blood flow more easily through them. Prazozyn in the class of drugs known as α-receptor blockers.
Missed DoseDo not take 2 doses once. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missing dose and return to your normal dose of the list. If you miss a dose prazozyn, put it as soon as possible.
