Proskar (finasteride)

Proskar used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men, enlarged prostate. DHT is involved in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

It does this by reducing hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is an important cause of prostate growth and reduce DHT causes enlargement of the gland contraction. Proskar is an inhibitor of the enzyme.

Do not take a double dose of the drug. To missing doses as long as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take only your next drug.

To keep away from children and pets Proskar reach. Proskar stored at room temperature is below 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees C). Keep away from heat, humidity and light. Do not store in the bathroom.

Also tell your doctor if you are:

• Liver disease or liver function is not correct;
• Prostate cancer;
• Bladder muscle disease;
• Urethral stricture, or
• If you can not urinate. If a woman accidentally touch broken or crushed tablets of this treatment, with soap and water immediately. Proskar although not for women, this treatment may cause birth defects if a woman experiences during pregnancy. Proskar can be absorbed through the skin, and women and children should not be allowed to appeal Proskar pills. You take Proskar, tell your doctor if you have had allergic reactions, drug or similar drugs such as dutasteryd (Avodart). Proskar pill should not be regarded as a woman who is pregnant or who may become pregnant.
