Zebeta (bisoprolol)

Zebeta is used to treat high blood pressure patients. It can be used alone or with other drugs.

Zebeta can take or without food. Usually a dose of 5 mg zebeta or 10 mg once a day, although the dose of 20 mg / day requirements. Some patients, such as those above the kidneys, liver and lung disease may be given 2.5 mg per day.

Zebeta reduces power consumption by the heart and lower blood pressure. By reducing heart rate and muscle strength, β-adrenergic blockers reduce the heart's oxygen needs. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it, if you remember the same day. Do not take 2 doses once. If you do not remember until the next day, skip the missing dose.

Zebeta should be stored at room temperature 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) in a closed container.

Before you have any medical or dental treatment, emergency care, or surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using this medicine. For diabetic patients: This medicine may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar such as increased heart rate. It is unclear if this drug is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the baby's risk. Do not drive, repair of machinery, or do any other could be dangerous until you know how you respond to this drug. This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
